Well, stating that atheism is a set of beliefs and a religion is a hell of a whopper, buddy. It is interesting that you have chosen to ignore my response to that claim except to whine and cry about my use of the word “bullshit”. While you complain about my tone, you have nothing to say about the substance of my response. Why? Because you know I’m right.
In addition, your beliefs are open to derision and ridicule just as any other beliefs are. What you claimed (atheism is a religion) is indeed bullshit. Don’t like my response? Try your preaching on someone gullible and ignorant.
By the way, when you come into someone’s home and start preaching, it is obnoxious. You won’t see me on Christian or Muslim blogs trying to explain to theists why I am an atheist and how happy it’s made me.
If you have questions about atheism or you want to engage in an intelligent exchange, that’s one thing. Coming on to my blog and preaching is quite another.
We’ll end this here if you come back with more silliness.

Many atheists (myself included) are former Christians. You bring nothing unique to the discussion by gushing on and on about how your relationship with an imaginary being has improved your life. Been there, done that. It’s not so much anger as it is exasperation with people like yourself who seem to think that their condition or or situation is unique and if I somehow could just know or feel what you know or feel I’d come to the same conclusions that you have. Again, I’ve already been in the place that you’ve been and I am no longer there. Of course, the standard response is to say that I never could have been a real Christina in the first place. Believe me, I’ve heard and read every possible argument coming from the theist side. It’s boring and it’s just plain ignorant.

there was things writen by people claiming to be christians on your web site that were totally contradictory to the message of jesus and there were athiests on the web site comenting on them and the reason why i started to message on here was to set the record srtaight that these people do not represent christ whatsoever and to share the love and goodness that he has brought into my life and into the lives of others around me.

I told you how Jesus has set me free and changed my heart and even healed me physically and all you have to say is BULLSHIT. I’m not forcing anything on you. why are you so quick to anger and be offended like I am trying to steal something from you. and you didn’t answer the question of if every one loved there neighbor and even there enemies as themselves how much of the worlds problems would go away.

I am not trying to push any religion on any of you i love all of you, I am just telling my story how Jesus healed me of brain damage and free’d me from this world and has blessed me with a beautiful young family and the love to love them and be loved that i could never have on my own before i knew him. I am not religious. I was more religious following the corrupt ways of this world before I knew Jesus than I am now. In case you havn’t noticed atheism is a Religion.be careful to not become the exact thing you despise. I ask you one final thing. If everyone loved there neighbor and even those who pesecuted them as themselves, how long would it be before there is way less problems in the world. Jesus isn’t the problem. its not following jesus which leads to problems. Jesus is the standard. human behaviour is the problem. self centerdness is the root of all the worlds problems.

hello there. I am a christian and what i see from people claming to be christians writing things about killing, these people are not christians, they may claim that they are but they are not. A christian is somone who loves the lord with all there heart and this includes love your neighbor and your enemies as yourself. I use to be a selfish person and would lie and cheat when i could get away with it about little things that most people do and I looked to money and time off work and vacations and food and sports and partying and even other people to fullfill me. As you can see it was all about me. I had relationships to fullfill MY needs.i was a slave to my body and this world. I bought nice things to make MYSELF happy, mostly every motivation for everything i did was all for me. I wanted to find a girl who I would be happy with. it was all about me. If someone cut me off in traffic it would anger me. If someone at work was being an asshole I would turn back and be an asshole back. There was times I was happy but it was only when i was stable financially and all the circomstances in my life were just so. there was no purpose in my life. it was all a bunch of superficial emptyness, just to satisfy my own human pleaures and desires. I am no longer like this. Jesus fills me with such love i cannot even describe in words how beautiful he is and with motiavtion of love he encourages me through his spirit to live for others and to be kind and have compassion and help those in need. and to forgive those who do me wrong and to repay them with kindness and love. and this is what Jesus preached while he was on earth and the religious leaders of the day killed him for it because he called them out for being the hypocrites they were. and this world still does persecute him and all his followers today. all over the world real followers of christ are thrown in jail and and killed for speaking these same messages of Jesus’s forgiveness and unconditional love. selfishness is evil, the devil is the “master of deception” don’t be deceived. i was for a long time till “the truth (Jesus) set me free” .
