What’s interesting is that this whole poly-monotheisic idea of the Trinity sounded wacky to many early Christians, too. If it wasn’t for the Roman Emperor Constantine wanting a clear teaching on the topic we would have many more Christians sects that do not believe that Jesus is of the same substance as God-the -Father.
Christians try to explain away their crazy beliefs as the “truth”, but will not allow other religions the same benefit of the doubt that they allow for themselves.
